Idk if this is unique to shuriken but I couldnt get them to area attack the T1 aa ship, T1 aa vehicle and T2 aa bot. didnt text extensively.
It might be the same bug ptaq had in the previous omega serie where he couldn't target the maelstrom.

some units I can area target them but not alt + area target them.
