i'm a first time player so idk what i'm doing really, but there's the log and here's a pic of what it tells me after i try to hit start. sorry if this issue is pinned somewhere or fixed someplace, i looked for a bit and couldn't find it.

okay. i figured it out, and it's no wonder nobody else has this problem. if anyone else runs into this, it's because you're stupid and you named one of your folders with two periods at the start or something similar ("..PERSONAL" was the offender here). i replaced them with commas and i'm fine now. the game thought i was not specifying every folder in the address (it thought the periods were indicating hidden or additional folders i think).
