I'm pretty sure this has been asked frequently, but I can't find anything in this section via search function...

Is there any chance of getting a good old Aegis shield (bubble or wall) that blocks all weapon types?
I really like this game, but I'm missing the good defense bubbles from SupCom and Zero-K. And I really like the idea of supporting shields from zero-k.

Meanwhile I understand, that defense behavior is somehow contra productive when playing in MP, but I'm a solo player (or best coop -> with a friend against AI), so I would appreciate the game option to make an aegis like shield available. 🙏

adv options > experimental > shield override > deflect everything. This?
