IMO the current system is clumbsy where it saves your recently used chat setting, example: You type to Everyone but then it doesnt change back to ally chat, instead you have to manually do this.

As player = Enter - Ally Chat, Shift-Enter - All chat.
As spec = Enter - Spec Chat, Shift-Enter = All chat.

This is the system used in StarCraft.

The AltGr key is awkward to use. From my own perspective i have FN key just beside and its very likely i missclick.

Too many people type their upcoming strategy/tactic in All Chat, which is the main reason it should be changed to ally chat as default 🙂

Even worse, I accidentally typed a message in all chat I meant for just spectators. Luckily the game was pretty much over and it ended up being inconsequential, but said something I shouldn't have. Annoying that you have to keep manually cycling back and if you forget which chat your last message was in you can easily speak in the wrong one.

Also, why can you type in spectator chat as a player, as they can see your message regardless. Kind of a weird system. Does that make it so only spectators but not teammates can see the message? Never actually thought of what the purpose of that was before.
