So I'm having a bit of an issue getting this to activate. I got the game 2 days ago and am trying to 100% it. Most of the issues I read about this were with people having pre-1.0 saves and simply needing to edit their save to re-watch the white VHS. I bought and played this post 1.0.
But anyways, here's my issues. While doing my first playthrough I ended up getting both VHS's and watching them. But when I beat the game it played ending A despite having watched both VHS's. I tried heading back to the end and seeing if it was just waiting to activate after getting Ending A, but it just repeats Ending A over and over again. I tried save editing both VHS's back into my inventory and watching them again in order, but when I try to activate them in their respective spots I get a "No Effect" in the bottom left.
So basically, I can't rewatch them to re-proc the ending, despite re-adding both VHS tapes to my inventory. This is the last achievement I need to 100%, and I was hoping to wait a bit before doing a 2nd playthrough so the entire game isn't super fresh in my mind. Any ideas on what to do?
