Maybe everything is working as intended. However, I think it's a bug. The enemy attacks me four times for 9 damage. I have at least five parries. The enemy's first two attacks trigger spikes and parries, and the last two attacks damage me

Yeah, you no longer have a target to parry the damage to. This makes a lot of sense from a programming perspective, but not so much from the gameplay side

Should only need 2 parries then, no? The enemy would die in 2 attacks, and those remaining 2 just wouldnt occur since the enemy would be dead to perform them

I assume the enemies attacks get put on the stack all at once, and then after 2 of them are handled the other 2 have no target or redirection anymore.
