So I keep getting a 'missing permissions' error when trying to create a new reaction role. I chose the webhook option and the bot does have permission to create webhooks in the channel I specified, so I'm not sure what's going wrong.

Is there already a webhook made by the bot in your server? If so give the bot permission to edit this webhook or delete it and the bot will make a new one.
This is because if you have like 20 reaction roles with webhooks it doesn't make 20 webhooks but just 1 and uses that one over and over in each channel.

Use discords view server as role feature to make sure the bot can really manage webhooks for the given channel or it might be a different issue that I need to look into.

globally, I've disabled the bot's role from creating webhooks, but I've enabled it just for the channel I want
although at first it was a member permission for the channel, I've changed it to a role permission now
so I'll test it again

I believe it needs global perms to check for older webhooks.
