  1. Take the limits off the bookmarked and liked lists in one's profile. I have to keep a separate list of games I admire. Otherwise, if I don't recall something unique about the title, it's lost forever.
  2. Improve the search function. (A) Add an advanced function so users can narrow down their preferred genre, gameplay, theme, etc. (B) Make title search an "and" instead of "or." I tried to search for an exact two-word title and got every game that included either word.
  3. Tie parties to specific games and display the type of gameplay and max number of players that game can hold (only Core World allows 16!) I have never seen more than 2 in any open party; if people know a battle royale is forming, parties might start to actually work. I bet some newbies have noped out of Core altogether when nobody joined their first party.
  4. Core public games (and Core community projects) is full of so much dreck that absolute gems of games are buried. Do something to differentiate and keep polished games findable.
  5. Do more to nurture the truly great work that has been done on this platform. The number of promising developers who have dropped out of Core is alarming. I just hope they've gone on to bigger and better game making instead of having their hearts broken.

Totally agree. Though I am curious on what you think could help keep "burried gems" more findable?

I am holding up the Flag for "Change Game Discoverability" since I joined Core. Games get burried easily, no matter how good they are. It wouldn't be an issue if it's due to the lack of audience, which is fluid and changes every now and then. The Problem is, that those burried games will never be found again. There is no sorting by Genre, which alone would already help a lot.

Display per:
Tycoon
RPG
FPS
Simulator
Racing Game
Pets
etc and each open up to 1000 Entries. Played or not, who cares, this way we'd at least be able to find hidden gems or games we like. I am a picky gamer, and the games I like are not popular on Core BUT they exist! Yet, impossible to find if you missed their release or have not saved them anyware.
