Create an original 27''x40'' movie poster using various Adobe tools and techniques.

#

My process:

First, I used Firefly Board, to create the Dragon, the main characters and the side kicks. I also created a few landscape.

Second, I used stock pictures for the castle, the sky, and some dragon scales that you will probably not notice.

Third, I used Photoshop Beta to place all the elements in a good composition. I used the new rotate tool to change the angle of some characters. This tool is insane by the way.

Fourth, I used the new harmonise tool, so that every elements in the composition, blend in seamlessly. The harmonise tool, saved me loads of time. This is another game changer.

Fifth, Typography. I played with different types to give this Heroïc Fantasy vibe I was looking for. I gave the title a little bevel & emboss effect so that it is more readable. It also gives a subtle 3D effect. I love the quote: « Fate has nothing to do with Destiny » because it sounds profound, but it is really not. For the credits at the bottom of the poster, I used generative AI.

Finally, I added some grain and texture, to provide a more cohesive feeling. I added a paper texture to give it a vintage touch. It looks like a real move poster someone left for decades in an attic.

Let me know what you think about it.

#

otherwise decent job.

#

I think you should add more contrast between the people and the background.

#

I'll give you an example.
