Stretched checker pattern

Would anyone be able to give me a hand with how to get the stretch on the checker I'm trying to recreate the wrap

Hi, a good way would be first to warp the shape, or to Ctrl-click one of the corner points. Then use displace with a shaded copy of the car as a displacement map.
