how to use exact image as brush in any desired radius

title explains itself but for more detail, basically id want to use the images that ive attached as a brush texture, but in any radius or size. i wanna be able to use it freely like any other brush but just have it be that exact texture/image while im using it, if possible. ive tried it before and it made it this weird square, but i specifically want it to be this image in a round brush, for example

if not, is there any way i can just overlay this texture on top of a previously drawn line/color? thank you :)

I think what you're asking, is whether you can make a 'brush' out of the image... - but 'brushes' in photoshop don't work like that.

it's a shame, since I wanted to make a map, and wanted pre-coloured trees as 'brushes'

There probably are solutions for you though

You can turn the texture into a 'pattern' and then apply a pattern overlay onto painted layers
