Have you tried the Materials Panel in Photoshop? https://helpx.adobe.com/substance-3d-modeler/interface/top-bar/material-panel.html. You can import from the Substance 3D Library which should have what you're looking for. https://substance3d.adobe.com/assets.
You can just import your PNG texture and clip the texture to the text. That's the easiest way. It's may be a bit crude, but maybe that's what you are after
See my screenshot, I imported an image, and clipped the layer to the text (right click, create clipping mask)
