Have you tried the harmonise feature in Photoshop?
It allows to composite multiple layers together.

# hexed galleon I tried it, it doesn't work very well, it's strange.

Well, sometimes AI based stuff can't figure out, or at least they are less effective than human based stuff.
Check this video about compositing and see if it helps better. WE always need to try the easy stuff, before resort to the complex stuff!
