#Fix warped Panorama

Hello, I took some photos of the Milky Way and stitched the panorama in Photoshop. the problem is, the Milky Way should be an arc and not linear. The filter for adaptive wide angle correction is not enough and very hard to get the result right.
Is there another tooling photoshop to correct panoramas like with Mercator projections or sth like that?
If not can you recommend any other program I can use to stitch panoramas AND with witch I can export the resulting file in 16bit?

And another problem is: photoshop often uses the corners of the raw photos in the resulting panorama but in these areas the stars aren’t as sharp as in the center of the images. Is there something I can do?
