I have been able to work with Actions that turn photos into art styles until I downloaded Envato PSD Actions. So far all of them are giving me this error on all parts of the actions. I am loading the ATN files and double-clicking on brushes and patterns. I have the latest version of Photoshop on my Mac. What am I doing wrong?

You are probably not doing anything wrong. (Unless there is a ‘how-to-use file’ that describes which requirements must be met for the action to work).
Some actions are simply created ‘incorrectly’ by the creators.
Can you please open the action in the actions panel and show a screenshot of the complete programme window with the image and layers panel open or even a screen recording? Maybe we can see where the error could be ...

Please search for this action first and expand it by clicking on the small arrow in front of the action (and maybe also expand the action ‘Don't use \ delete \ modify \ rename actions below!!!’ and also show a screenshot)
