#wavey strokes

theyre all like wavey and stuff and tracing wtih the pen tool can kinda give wonky results sometimes
in my head the best option right now is to trace it in illustrator and just smoothen it out
Tracing with the pen tool shouldn't give you wonky lines, it's the most accurate way to trace things, to be honest. However, I will suggest that this is probably done using a "proper" vector software such as illustrator where you could trace vector shapes and have them distorted using effects (something Photoshop isn't really made for)
That said, you can try a few pointers:
Tracing straight lines and use
The warp option (Edit>transform>warp)
The liquify filter (Filter>liquify)
A few filters in the distort section (Filter>distort) They will give you a set result, but some are definitely more in the "random" side. For example you can check Filter> Distort > wave.
Two caveats: They will not work with vector shapes from the get go: You will need to turn the layer into a smart object first
You may not get the exact result that you want. Only retracing everything with the pen tool can do that.
If you feel your lines a wobbly, you can increase the smoothing value, but more importantly, you can also invest in a graphic tablet if you haven't already. It helps immensely. Nobody draws with a brick 🙂 You can find some cheap ones from £50/$50, they are perfectly acceptable.
Hi, instead of tracing, I’d agree with Sandrine, it seems easier to create a spiral with multiple strokes in Illustrator, then distort it. Might be way faster.
