I know you asked how to do it in photoshop and I'd also like to know how to create the effect in photoshop but I wondered if there's a way to use reshade shaders on images. I came up with a way but its pretty esoteric and convoluted. Pretty neat though.

It's possible to make warping more pronounced. Exaggerated for demonstration

I don't have time now but I'll write how to do it later. Want to see if I can finetune some things first to make it easier to do.

It perhaps gets even cooler because you can add bloom to the image. again exagerated for demonstration

I am curious as to what "reshade'" you are talking about, is this another software? The only Reshade I am familiar with is the one that I run with certain games I play to change visual styles and apply certain effects. Would love to know what this is

find a crt texture and make it hard mix blend mode
