#hi, does anybody know how copyright works with fonts?

That would depend on the font, the supplier and/or the license that goes along with the font. What's the question exactly? Generally, if you purchase a font, you can use it in your designs and layouts. You're probably not allowed to turn around and sell that again to someone or package it with other fonts and profit off of it. The license would be for your use. Not resale, most likely.
I'm looking for a font to use it on some designs I'd like to use of clothes, clothes that I have the intention of sell. So, I'd like to use them in a comercial way. I found some fonts on the Internet that have been interesting for me, but, while the personal use price is 30 euros, the commercial is 2000. So, I look for which is the copyright of them. I studied industrial design and I know how does it work patents of products or trademarks but I didn't heard anything about fonts. Looking for an answer I found that the installator has the license but you can still make by yourself a 99% similar font and other confusing things. So I don't rlly know an answer. I can't afford me 2k just to use a font, but I don't want to make something ilegal. But at the same time I've never heard anyone being reported for using a font without paying. (Srry for my limited english)
to resume: if I remake the font by myself being 99% similar, do u know if there is any legal problem?
You should consult an attorney. I can't give legal advice. Sorry. :)
Thanks anyway!

In the US, only the software part of the font is copyrighted, like the bezier placement, not the visual shape, BUT. It is not the case in many other countries. There are fonts with a less restrictive license than the one you mentioned. If it is low volume, it might be worth contacting the font creator to see if there would be a different price for small batches.
Yep, I saw that the copyright belonged to the installer and not to the aspect itself (srry if I use colloquial terms), thank you for confirming that this information was true, I had doubts. As for the restrictions, I will see what there are where I live, in Spain, and I will consider the option of contacting the studio. Thank you very much for your response:)
