I want to change this image to look like this one:

#

But while I can get the color of the curtains to be similiar, the torso seems a bit too bluish

#

I'm not sure what adjustments to use in order to keep the color of the curtains, the same, shadows the same, and the torso to be more "whitish" as it is in the 2nd pic

#

Please help if you can!! Thank you 🙂

Hi, a curve adjustment layer in the shape of an S might help to control the shadows while boosting the highlights.

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/curves-adjustment.html (check the presets)

Or you could duplicate the layer, Ctrl+click the Composite Channel to select its luminosity, and use that selection as a layer mask, and switch the layer blending mode to screen.

Split your photos into tonal regions with Luminosity Masks in Photoshop 2022. What are luminosity masks? How to make Luma masks and use luminosity masks to make your photos look better.
