#Seamlessly blend two images together ?

Hello I'm looking for a way to blend two images/layers together. Now, I've watched some tutorials online many of which took water or the sky as an example which isn't exactly what I'm looking for. I'd like the top image to kinda take over the style of the bottom one. As for now the top image pop's out of the overal picture and feels like a sticker been pasted. I'll be adding a glow around it and other particles later on too.

Should I add a filter for the fire layer, dim the colors, change them ... ?
If you have other usefull tutorials or resources to share with me I'm listening.
