Since I started working with Photoshop, I only trust the pictures that I have taken myself. I regard all others as ‘potentially edited’.
Why do you want to know if the image has been edited?

The better the image editor is and the more familiar he/she is with the topics of light dynamics and lighting conditions, proportions, shadows, compression artefacts and colour mood, the more difficult it will be to prove manipulation without special software.
The poorer the resolution, the more difficult it is to make a statement. And the image is not of good quality.

I wouldn't trust anyone only based on a photo (or a video for that matter)
