Is there a way to simply turn the background into another color? I can't use the object select tool and invert my selection bc that makes it look bad.
And color range select also doesnt work because of the reflections on the spoon.
Can anyone help me or explain it?

Because of the similarity of the colors and the lack of contrast between the items and the background, you'll probably have to carefully paint on a mask to do this. You could use an Adjustment Layer and paint on the Layer Mask so that the adjustment only affects the background.
