Hello everyone, can anybody please edit my face photo onto Donald trumps instead of Donald trumps face as well as change the colour scheme of the image? Specificallly, from red and blue to green and gold/yellow? If anybody could do this, I would be superrr grateful. Thanks in advance! Also, the watermarks are annoying, but if it's too hard its no big deal

Watermarks are there for a reason, not to infringe on the copyright of the person who created the poster (although one could argue that the trump poster already somewhat infringes on Sheppard Fairey intellectual property, but that's another story)

(You'll see that the original artwork has its own intellectual properties issues, but it just highlights the fact that you can't take things)
Am I annoying there? I guess so. You can't ask anybody to take off a watermark, it's illegal.
Also, honestly, since you already done half the job with your green and black variation, I would just change those colours to teal, red and cream. If you want to have a go and use your own efforts instead of takeing from the "original" then let me know and I'll guide you through...
The Barack Obama "Hope" poster is an image of US president Barack Obama designed by American artist Shepard Fairey. The image was widely described as iconic and came to represent Obama's 2008 presidential campaign. It is a stylized stencil portrait of Obama in solid red, beige and (light and dark) blue, with the word "progress", "hope", or "cha...
Hey there, sorry, I didn't even realize asking to remove them was illegal. Never even crossed my mind but now that I think of it I guess I saw it in rules. Either way, it doesn't bother me much
I will try later today again, I'll lyk if I need help with something
But in general, is there a way to change the colors of an image directly (like color swap or something) like red to green for example?
THe easiest way is the Hue/Saturation adjustment layer
See how it changes the yellow when I move the top slider on the right

No worries, what I am saying is that you don't need to take that trump image, you can rellay make it your own from what you already have
It would be even simpler if what you already have was a vector file (The original Obama poster is a vector file) so that you can change the colour in one click with illustrator
do you how can i download this image without background (png) without removing the green fill needed for my face?
You need to select the content of your face, I guess as seen on layer 0. to do that just CTRL+click on the layer thumbnail (layer 00
once you got that selection move to the green solid colour layer, and create a mask from that selection (with the selection active click on this icon at the bottom of the layer panel)
you got a masked solid colour which only applies to the face. Now change this colour from green to whatever you want, by double clicking on this layer thumbnail.
I can see you got a gradient map at the top, so some colours could be changed there as well (depending on what the gradient map does)
thanks so much! Also, if you don't mind, a couple more questions
Heres what I have right now
However, because of the hue/saturation filter my whole picture is green. I would like the background to be yellow (the rectangles). How could I only apply the green to the suit and other layers if i want?
Ah, i see
Once you have that mask that hides the background like I told you before, you can apply it to any layer you like (including the hue saturation adjustment layer)
So once you got that, create a new solid colour adjustment layer, make it yellow, and all that is masked will not interfere with that background
You might actually want to group all those layers but the yellow background and apply that mask onto the group. Groups make things easier to handle
I tried my best but couldn't seem to get it to work. I messed something up lol and ended up taking a while to bring it back
Currently this is my progress
I know it's not good but I can't really do better with no experience
Would anybody be able to help me compete this thru sharing? Otherwise I'll just keep it green.
The problem is I cannot see any of my advice in there? where are the masks? where are the solid colour adjustment layers? (The green and the yellow)
The aim of working in photoshop is to keep things as editable as possible, if you you keep on merging layers or whatever you've done you're just making your life more miserable.
I would have achieved what you wanted with your initial screenshot with the few steps I shared with you, but I keep seeing layers that have no relation with the steps I gave you to follow. So I have no idea how you went from the first screenshot to this last one you shared
Don't merge layers, keep as much of the original layers as possible and add to them. If some serve no purpose, you can hide them, and eventually delete them. Do not merge!
Ultimately, you may want to learn a bit about the basics so you can acquaint yourself with the logic o the software first
