There is another one there called "color overlay"
Just tick the box and change the color to white (It might be black by default) you will have a white F.
But you'll have to remove your solid blue layer (because that's what turning the F into blue)
If you don't what to touch the layer styles, then just double click on the blue solid colour layer and you can change the colour there
The only problem is that I don't know why, but this F can't be selected

Can't you post a .mp4? because .mkv are only available to download and most people won't download random files.
All I can say is that in your configuration (as per screenshot above) your F exists in a layer on it's own, but also as a masked group.
If you slect amd move one, you need to select the other.
There is ultimately no need for that group with the method I shared earlier. The colour overlay is done directly in the effect panel.
Is this ok ?
