#Does someone know how to make this kind of lighting / color effect?

you said what you tried but what exactly your goal is here?
The desired coloured effect you want depends on the color you selected from the solid colour adjustment layer and not only the color blending mode. Try selecting colours with moderate saturation then try different blending modes to get your desired result
Não entendi muito bem o que vc quer fazer
Can you write in English please

Oh ok
You can use Layer Style and build up the effect in serval layers I use Layer Styles presets from https://www.brusheezy.com
I have done this effect with use of only Layer Style
Hi, I would try a gradient map adjustment layer, from white to purple to black.
yeah something like that
mayb i bit more color-ish but yeah
On Phone:
-
Open the Photo in Photoshop Express:
- Launch the Photoshop Express app and load the photo you want to edit.
-
Access the Split Tone Tool:
- Go to the 'Looks' or 'Edit' section (depending on the app version).
- Find and select the 'Split Tone' option.
-
Adjust the Split Tone Sliders:
- There will be sliders for 'Highlights' and 'Shadows'.
- Set the Highlights to purple by dragging the slider to the desired hue.
- Set the Shadows to black by dragging the slider to the desired hue.
-
Maximize the Intensity:
- Increase the intensity of the effect by moving the slider up to the maximum.
On Computer:
-
Open the Photo in Adobe Photoshop:
- Launch Adobe Photoshop and open your photo.
-
Create a Split Tone Effect:
- Go to the 'Adjustments' panel and click on 'Gradient Map'.
- Click on the gradient to open the 'Gradient Editor'.
-
Edit the Gradient Color:
- Choose the left color stop and set it to black for shadows.
- Choose the right color stop and set it to purple for highlights.
-
Fine-Tune the Effect:
- Adjust the midpoint to balance the colors as needed.
- Use the 'Opacity' slider in the 'Layers' panel to control the overall effect intensity.
By following these steps, you can achieve a split-tone effect with purple and black tones on both your phone and computer. I don't know if it's exactly what you want but that's how I did the above pic 🙂
