On Phone:

  1. Open the Photo in Photoshop Express:

    • Launch the Photoshop Express app and load the photo you want to edit.
  2. Access the Split Tone Tool:

    • Go to the 'Looks' or 'Edit' section (depending on the app version).
    • Find and select the 'Split Tone' option.
  3. Adjust the Split Tone Sliders:

    • There will be sliders for 'Highlights' and 'Shadows'.
    • Set the Highlights to purple by dragging the slider to the desired hue.
    • Set the Shadows to black by dragging the slider to the desired hue.
  4. Maximize the Intensity:

    • Increase the intensity of the effect by moving the slider up to the maximum.

On Computer:

  1. Open the Photo in Adobe Photoshop:

    • Launch Adobe Photoshop and open your photo.
  2. Create a Split Tone Effect:

    • Go to the 'Adjustments' panel and click on 'Gradient Map'.
    • Click on the gradient to open the 'Gradient Editor'.
  3. Edit the Gradient Color:

    • Choose the left color stop and set it to black for shadows.
    • Choose the right color stop and set it to purple for highlights.
  4. Fine-Tune the Effect:

    • Adjust the midpoint to balance the colors as needed.
    • Use the 'Opacity' slider in the 'Layers' panel to control the overall effect intensity.

By following these steps, you can achieve a split-tone effect with purple and black tones on both your phone and computer. I don't know if it's exactly what you want but that's how I did the above pic 🙂
