It kinda makes me feel like he's aligning himself and his identity with his present moment by acknowledging/grounding with the changes he went thru in his life

Like instead of being so confined to one thing, he opens himself to new experiences/ideas and "reaches in" to unleash his inner spirit that he's kept closeted
