Free transform problem

Hi Photoshop community!😀

I have a problem with the free transform tools, when I enlarge from the center with shift + alt and when I release the mouse, the transformation changes size.

I tried releasing the keys first rather than the mouse but it doesn't change anything.

Please help me 😭

PS : I did new tests and apparently it only works with the stylus but not with the mouse 😮

Did you try turn ON the proportion lock, and try the same only using ALT key?

it happens less often but it continues 😭
I wonder if it doesn't come from the position of the cursor...

Have you tried to reset your preferences? Maybe there' something wrong with them?
Go to edit>preferences>general
And click reset preferences on quit.

close Photoshop and launch it again

Can you just test something? (I doubt that's the issue but let's try)
In the view section (don't know in other than English)

go to snap (magnetisme?) and click "none"

Trying to think if the transform snaps into another thing or not

Also it seems to be working fine with the constrains now, or did I miss something?

it could also be that in edit>preferences>tools... snap

so worth a try also

in case, option C, try to tick that box (still in preferences, then general)

Actually I would try this last one first

If it's already ticked, untick it instead. Untick should be the default, but we never know

It's definitely not normal. Does it happen when , for example , you trace a new vector shape? (same keyboard shortcuts to start from centre)
Silly idea, but I would also look at your keyboard, try with another one. just in case.

FOUND IIIT 🔥 i previously de-activate the "stiky keys" of windows ("touches rémanentes" in french) and you had to activate them 🙈 😅
