#How to colour transfer?

Hi. My predicament: I hate the Instagram yellow filter. Luckily, someone has trained an AI model to remove them. The results are great, but the model was only trained on 256x256 images, so the output images are also 256x256. How can I transfer the colours of the low-res (cropped) output to the original hi-res images?

You can use the neural filter "harmonisation" (filter>neural filter> harmonisation. Make sure you download it first and activate the toggle)
Then in the drop down menu choose a layer to refer to (that means you first need to add the small graded image as a layer in your document)

That said, it's probably overkill for this one, a simple "curve" or "level" adjustment layer where you use the eye dropper on her shirt (presumably neutral) to set the white balance, and it's a one click thing

No need to resort to AI or anything for something that quick! 🙂

so in the curves layers (similar for levels) seek the grey point

that's the eye dropper that will give you a neutral colour when applied to an area that should be neutral grey (your shirt)
