My hobby is 3D renders. I use Photoshop to enhance them to make better images. I also use it to make graphics and things for my streaming platform.

Ngl - I use it to make meme gifs A LOT. I know there may be a better way but I have the workflow down to a science. I dread the day I lose the option if "save for legacy web" 😂

Aside from that, I edit photos and make composite art.

Almost all photography but mostly composites, studio or advanced lighting work, I've been dabbling in ai for quite a while now if you consider content aware fill ai, but nowadays its beyond helpful. I didn't even think it could get better prior to ai dropping in adobe. I also use it for creative stylized edits, batch processing hdr timelapses, simple batched brackets, hair and imperfection refining, sweat removal (lol clients don't listen when I say not noon in July when it's full sun and 95°). Also I use it when I have one of those top shot of the year images to make sure everything is fine tuned to perfection. Astrophotography, some long expos (night).

When cleaning up my drives, I typically will use bridge and camera raw to sift through and make some tweaks, this is often when I find an old photo that I find to have a ton of magic that I may have overlooked initially, these usually end up making way jnto Photoshop.

Edit: oh yeah, and mockups. Thanks for reminding me @plain barn

I have made extensive use of Photoshop to produce videos where I had historically significant person's speaking Ai model doing narration, which was fine but the rest of the body was more or less immobile, so keyframe animation saved the day in Photoshop.

As the former/last co-manager of the Philadelphia PS User Group...I have often said if I could email out of PS I'd never have a reason to open another program ever. That was 10 years ago in the first round of Blackberry and Android mobile apps. I have used PS for damn near everything. I have found it to be a better tool for illustration than Illustrator, dream up more layout ideas than Dreamweaver, and a better animator than Animate at times. Still my favorite usage has been creating a color match photograph for the team that painted my house...that one even surprised me. Lol
