#Keypads and Photoshop shortcuts

If you mean a keypad as in an external secondary board (like additional buttons in a mouse, a loupedeck or a Graphic tablet shortcut remote) you need to program them in the relevant driver for the product. For example I have a Logitech Mx Master, and all my Blender shortcuts have to be set up on the logitech utility.
They replace the usual shortcuts I would find on my standard keyboard but find easier to maipulate with the mouse.
So either you go to edit>keyboard shortcuts to change Photoshop shortcuts for the keyboard, or you use the device app to assign a shortcut to the new device
You can do both, if you feel like it...
For example I changed some keyboard shortcurt for Photoshop, and assigned those changed shortcuts to the express keys of my graphic tablet by setting them up on my GT driver.
so ive tried to edit the keboard shortcut and tried to bind some shortcuts to my keypad and it said it didnt work
No because you can only change the keyboard shortcuts in Photoshop
If you need to assign shortcuts on the keypad, you need to set them up in the keypad driver. PS doesn't control other devices than a standard mouse and keyboard
What is your keypad?
just a normal plugin keypad will that work?
I mean, I was about to search for the way to change the assigned button for your specific keypad for you
I was looking for a brand etc
how do i edit the drivers aswell?
It's in the software provided with your device
for example see the one I have for my graphic tablet
and how I can change the assigned key to each button
here's the one for my mouse
you see what I mean?. They should have provided you with a way to program those buttons
ohhh okay i see what you mean yeah i dont have a display tablet, just have a normal drawing tablet, thank you though
