The team suspects your device is giving Photoshop a pen down event with barely any pressure, and then as the pen tip makes contact both the pressure increases dramatically, and the grid x,y location "moves" to the locus on the grid.
Related (but different) problem with Wacom, which could be mitigated in Wacom Desktop Center by adjusting the pen's pressure profile. https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-bugs/p-shoelace-shaped-brush-stroke-with-wacom-and-smoothing-on-macos/idi-p/12558795
Does the GAOMON PD1560 have an equivalent setting for it's pen's profile?
I'm getting fed up with you Adobe This is a recurring issue with smoothing creating a "shoelace" effect. I'm on a brand new mac, and a brand new Cintiq. I've tried reinstalling drivers, installing older versions of photoshop, and toying with smoothing settings. As far as I can tell, if I want to us...
I don't have the newer driver anymore but I believe the UI was similar to the one I have now, is this what you're talking about?
helps, thank you!
also learned we don't technically support non-wacom but sounds like you are using fine!
besides this brush/pen issue
Yeah, I haven't had many issues over the last few years I've been using creative cloud and I hope whatever I did today just keeps working haha
