emoji journal! instead of the scrolling bar

i find the current one we have right now with just the scrolling bar can be a bit hard to find emojis and feels pretty limiting too. so this emoji journal could be opened with a button in the same spot the emoji menu is right now, but it would open this draggable emoji menu option that lets you pick the emoji you want to send! kind of like the greeting menu we have.

the parts are on 50% transparency, with the top tab being 100%. each tab becomes more solid when you select it (75% in this case) to show it is the menu you are on now. to open it, go to the top right with the smiley face, to which it should open the journal (red if first time opening on server, otherwise remembers where you left off). the black tab with the x closes the menu. the top tab is draggable so you can move it where needed!

of course not all foods will be shown, but it could just be used as a general list, i.e. if they're craving sushi 🍣 , rice 🍚 , etc. more roleplay aspect to the game! similarly with how not all body parts are allowed to prevent inappropriate/offensive/rude gestures, i.e. 🤜 could be like punching someone, which could be rude in a lot of contexts

quick mock-up i made in image, color guide for the tabs:
red: face emojis. stuck on yellow skin
orange: hand gestures. shown in image
yellow: meals.
green: cutlery.
blue: symbols. i.e. ❌✅❓❗1️⃣2️⃣3️⃣ etc etc...
purple: hearts.

i couldnt find the exact font or replicate the top bar like you see normally so thats why it looks like that 💔 canva my beloathed

love this idea, there's multiple categories and a better variety of emojis to choose from which makes it more useful and easier to express something

I could see this being added in game, the current choices for emojis is very limited and the ui can confuse new players. There should 100% be more emoji choices to choose from

LOVE this concept! I do feel the bar makes it somewhat hard to find certain emojis without going back and forth.

THIS! it’s a bit difficult, especially if you’re like me and mostly play on ipad,, something like this would be so helpful

i also like the fact that there would be more food emojis so if you wanted to let a costumer know you are going to the kitchen to make their food if they are a table, you can! idk if that makes sense cause im kinda half asleep but yeah!

This is amazing. I also would hope that this would come with the bug where the ui keeps coming back when you tap your screen if you’re on mobile, if that makes sense.

YESSS this happens to me 24/7

it goes away after u tap a few seconds but it does kinda get annoying sometimes
