im a newer player so i dont have NEARLY as enough tricks uniforms recipes etc. as others, plus a fixation is kicking in for this game so the urge to have basically everything possible as well 😭 problem is its like 10k-ish sushi rolls for every item right now (i need 9200 since i have wagashi) which is almost, if not entirely, impossible to reach in the time limit of just 1 day left for it to be here. will it come back sooner than just next christmas, and what is planned to return from the list? someone mentioned wagashi was there last year so i feel like it wasnt very smart of me to buy that first knowing its likely to come back 🥲

i’ve seen a few items be in multiple sushi merchants across a few months

For instance, the wagashi was obtainable a few months ago (or last year even) and it returned
But if it appeared recently it will be several months until it returns

ok i was apparently Slightly misinformed cuz someone told me the merchant only comes every christmas so i am a little less freaked out LOL

and the game is updated frequently

Honestly whatever you’d like!! i always get the secret recipes bcz i love collecting them but thats js me, if you want to get the exclusive christmas items it could be a good idea bcz those r probably less likely to come back until christmas time
Still possible for them to come back regardless of it being christmas or not, but it makes more sense for them to put christmas stuff in the merchant if it’s that holiday szn

i was thinking of doing secret recipes but i think they are more common to return than things like the holiday tricks/unis being for later (if.. at all..)

its just more expensive though so id have to buy more sushi rolls 😭 thats the only reason im worrying abt it since its not really easy to get rolls if you dont just pay for em

Yeahh i get you, it’s super hard to tell what’s gonna come back and what’s not cuz it’s always randomized

Dont stress about getting items just bcz ur new!! it takes time

i mentioned in hangout but i was grinding for hours and only got like ~700 when all the christmas/new years items are worth like. 4600 total, not to mention the 10300(?) (its 9200 without wagashi) in total for EVERYTHING

Usually, you only need ~7000 sushi rolls for the merchant but this one was an exception. I recommend the playtime rewards, AFK break room, completing quests & chef benefits, and serving the customers/NPCs. The list is slightly outdated but it's still true.
You get more over time, same with recipes!
