Login streak system change

Hello, everyone! A few months ago, I suggested changing the login streak system back to how it was prior to the revamp, but the idea was declined. However, I still happen to struggle a lot with maintaining my daily streak, which is why I wanted to bring up the issue once again.

Currently, after claiming your login reward for the day, the next one becomes available in exactly 24 hours — so if I logged in at 8 AM to claim my daily reward, I would be able to claim tomorrow’s at 8 AM the following day. The problem is, you realistically can’t log in at the same exact time every single day. I have experienced so many cases where I would claim my streak in the morning one day (for example: on the 20th), then I could only claim the next day’s reward late in the evening (on the 21st) and I would skip the day after (22nd) simply because I didn’t play in the evening but rather in the morning, and claimed my streak then (23rd). This cycle results in me losing a day from my daily streak and makes it inaccurate in the long run. I have not once lost my daily streak — in fact, I have maintained it since the end of December (300+ days), yet I have nowhere near that (280 days).

I think the reason why people prefer the new system over the old one is because with the old streak system, streaks reset at 12 AM EST for everyone regardless of their timezone. Instead, I would like to suggest them to reset at 12 AM in everyone’s individual timezone. Not all days go the same (school, occupations, etc.) and I genuinely feel like this change would make maintaining login streaks way easier and it would make them more accurate. I think it can be a bit demotivating for people to lose their hard-earned consistent achievement, especially if they are trying to obtain the exclusive rewards you get after hitting certain milestones.

I would love to hear what everyone has to say regarding this. Personally, I don’t want to be worried by the fact that I can lose my daily streak if I happen to shift in the game in a time window that just happens to be enough for it to reset (because it has already happened in the past). It would be a very small quality of life update, but I think it would be so helpful. Thank you to everyone who took their time to read this!

Or just log in early next day, for example in the morning. Dosent even take 2 minutes

Still I log in accidently once really late, the next day I can’t and I lose my login streak

Basically the login streak goes like this: for example you claim it at 9:00am November 3, you wait 24 hours to claim it again at 9:00am November 4. During the time period of 9:00am November 4 to 5, you must claim your steak, or else it will reset. If you claim it in between November 4th 9:00am to November 5th 9:00am, you just have to wait 24 hours like normal.

I do agree though as I have lost my steak countless of times and had to pay robux to maintain it.

Same! I’ve been logging in consistently since march I should have ≈240 days but I’m currently at 195, I maybe restored my streak 20 times

I believe another way to fix this to maybe give more time for people to claim
For ex
U claim at nov 5th, 1 pm
U can claim now 6th after 20 hours pass, since people have dif schedules and can be claimed from that initial 20 hours, extra 6 HOURS MAXIMUM so it will reset at MAXIMUM, IF RHE USER DIDNT CLAIM, AT 7 PM.

nov 6th can be claimed between 11 AM and 7 PM so the user is more likely to log in despite any schedule
I feel like implementing this, will encourage people to try for streak
I personally find it disheartening to find out my streak is strict and hard to maintain, and once lost (im nearing 600 soon, so ik how it is like)

i like the idea of a shorter countdown, i know adopt me and royale high do this! although currently you have 24 hours to claim your streak (meaning if you claimed today at 2pm, your next streak would be available at 2pm the following day and you would be able to claim it until 2pm the day after)
also the main issue with having a timed countdown is that it can still be inaccurate at some point (as the queen emma roberts said above me)

this still results in me only being able to claim 2 out of 3 days though — whether or not it takes two minutes, the new system is overalk less flexible in my opinion compared to the old system, coming from someone who got to experience both

I expirienced both varients too and i think this one now is better then the old, because it gives you an actuall reason to log into Kohau, regardless of how long

With this one your not just 'oh yea lemme log in when i want to' You have to keep track of your streak and log in in time

Yes, I definitely agree with this! I feel like alot of people were confused with the differences when choosing.

It helps alot to players like me who doesn't have a proper schedule on when I can get to open Kohau

That’s the problem, though! Not everyone can log in on time every day, it’s unfair to those who actually have busy lives

Sure it can be a small easy thing but it can be easily forgettable
