Most get this one completely wrong, so I'm going to help you guys. The Cubes are not blue as a base color, they are purple.
#1: The Blue Cube: Back in the CH2S7 event what happened is we Knocked Down the cube as if it were another player, thats what made it turn grey. The loopers have the hidden secret power to Reboot people, so we did that and that's what made it turn blue. By turning The Cube blue it also made it switch to our team just like how we reboot players ingame.
#2: The Red Cube: So by now we know that when the Blue Cube was knocked it turned Grey and when Rebooted it turned Blue, by using this knowledge we can find out that the color Red must mean Eliminated. This is important, why? Well, Back during the CH2S8 Event The Last Reality destroyed The Blue Cube. This probably meant that the Blue Cube got eliminated, and if the rule of colors apply still then the Cube should now be Red because it was Eliminated

Consider this, there was leaks for a new island a little while ago, and The Nothing is taking over the island. Maybe in the future we will see a map where The Nothing originates and Raven (Red Kevin) will be there

Maybe it'll return for a Fortnitemares event as a ghost like Midas did

We revived it when it was knocked, turned blue. Someone or Something might revive it and it turns Red

The natural state of the cube was blue that’s why we were able to revive it the cube queen corrupted the cubes and that’s what turned them purple

and that means that dead is grey, not red

Maybe their natural state IS gray. The Queen corrupted them with purple, we "uncorrupted" the cube and corrupted it ourselves with blue, but on a good way.

The cubes are created from The Queen herself, their natural state are purple.

Grey is knocked

We revived it when it was knocked, that's why it turned blue. However not that it was fully destroyed it may turn red when brought back

The Golden Cubes are just a higher power version of the Purple Cubes btw, nothing alive or death related to them whatsoever

Zuro not to be mean but ur wrong the cubes natural state has to be blue because if it’s natural state was purple then we would be able to revive it. Btw blue natural state grey is knocked and purple is corrupted idk about red because they have only teased a red cube

The thing you dont realize is that the cubes aren't corrupted at all, they're created purely from the Queen herself. The one from Chapter 1 is a great example as you got to see the Cube be created right in front of you, and during the CH2S8 event you can see her make walls of cubes out of purely nothing. The Cubes aren't corrupted at all, if anything their the ones who corrupt

Ok I think both of you would be right because we found out that in chapter 3 season 2 we found out that the cube king left because he found out that the cubes were corrupt/ evil and I think it would make sense to blue is it’s natural state but from what the cube king said the cubes were corrupted and evil and I could understand that they were corrupted by the queen but I don’t know

And there is literally a contrail called “corrupted cubes”

But idk maybe it’s all nothing and darkness truly is their natural state

Because the cubes corrupt, think of the dark series skins. Dark Bomber was the first to be corrupted

Maybe their natural state is chromatic like the Nothing (not like the grey we saw when we knocked it)

The Nothing is a bunch of Hexagons and The Last Reality is a bunch of Cubes. Maybe they're both chromatic but the Queens power makes the cubes appear purple

But I think their natural state is purple, after all they do literally stem off of the queens power

when the original kevin, the one in the c2s7 event died

it went grey

which means that is the colour of eliminated cubes, not red

so theoretically all the cubes should be grey now

obviously this is just my opinion and would love to hear ones against it

No hate, but it wasn't fully destroyed that's why it was grey

There's a difference between knocked and eliminated

and Kevin went white because it was draining energy

but when it was elimmed, blevin didnt turn red

so isnt that being eliminated?

and knocked is grey?

Well yes, but it left shards

Also the Zero Point in CH1SX Brought it back to it's past state

So unless Season X brought a completely different cube, I don't really count Kevin

I just found this, this is what happened when the blue cube was destroyed

The screen was turning purple and sent out a red flash when it was destroyed

But if the original state of the cubes is purple then why did it turn blue? I know u said bcz we rebooted it and it turned it our side. So is that only with cubes that we can turn them to our side? We can’t do that with other players in the game. So it would make sense if the cube was corrupted.

Only after we knock a living thing can we reboot it

it just so happens that the cubes have in some ways a mind of their own

Canonically the loopers are only on separate teams until a live event, and in that case we/they're all on the same team. Again, the cubes are created directly from the Queens powers. For some reason we were able to reboot the cube. The button that appears when we do reboot it literally says "reboot".

I'm guessing since the cubes are alive but not from Reality Zero we were able to reboot it but not all the same looper rules apply to it
