  1. Modifiers
    Cooldown modifier is great. It would be great if we can vote for monthly or weekly blueprint modifier for a specific item.

  2. ECR
    They need equal chances for everything in the ECR to make it fair.

  3. We definitely need a pattern to release new stuff, maybe like 6 months for 6 and 12 en and 8 months for 8 and 16 en weapons. For Mech a year.

  4. While every change to stop dropping didn't work as expected, it can still be improved to make dropping difficult.

  5. The specialisation spree for legendary mech or weapon should give acoin as the main reward then crates for epic etc.

  6. Tournament
    It's same for a long time, it would be great if reward system and bracket could get a rework.
    In order to deal sp drop issue, we can make a tournament where a player can use only one build, and he would get 5 or 10 lives, meaning he can spawn that build 5 or 10 times. That way it would be easier for match making.

  7. Onslaught
    It's better than the last time, since everyone has Killshot, really like the fact that we can test other weapons in trial levels. The rewards could be better like blueprints for desired item etc.

4 & 6: the matchmaking is busted, this is my hangar vs the hangar of the people I play against. As you can see, because I'm f2p, I only have the easily purchasable weapons and my inventory power is 7k but the other player is completely decked out on all the new legendaries and rocks a 23k inventory power. This is very aggravating to play against. I watch plenty of ads so it is not like Plarium is not making money off of me. Please fix.

1. Modifiers Good overall, with Ability CD for Mechs is the best. We need more like this.
2. ECR Rigged (unfair chance) as always, but:
2a. Savant 16 ECR is unique in that we can actually get up to 5 tokens through event without spending money, we need more of this, atleast give any and everyone a chance by giving every player a token if possible (just like old cosmetics ECR)
2b. Others ECR: They need equal chances for everything in the ECR.
3. New Stuff Savant 16 is just a "fork" of Savant 8, doubled. but everyone now has 5 chance in getting it, but the ECR itself has unfair chances so it is unlikely that anyone can get it. After all, it's a legendary weapon, but everyone needs a fair chance of getting it. I see many players frustrated about the fact that they get blueprints of the weapon instead of the weapon itself. We should also introduce weaker version of new weapons / add low-tier weapons and/or mechs and available via events and/or non-rigged ECRs so that everyone have a chance to try.
4. Matchmaking Many players (including me) have been matched against SP (Squad Power) "droppers", which make game-play less enjoyable. Also when matching with endgame players every time I was forced to match with high-level bots and/or players, which making the team up experience worse. I suggest that we should have a better matchmaking system based on something else but not SP; for the team up, match opponents that have the same skill levels as every players in the lobby, not just the highest one.
5. Events
5a. Spec Spree: Good, especially the event where we get Savant 16 ECR tokens. For sprees about using a weapon/mech, give Acoins as final rewards.
5b. Pilot Prizefight: The mission was not so easy but not too hard for everyone to have a chance to get 3,000 free Implant Parts.
5c. Other events: nothing needs to change.
6. Misc(Implant Removal Discount): This should happen once in a month or so.

Make savant 16 exactly dbl the damage of savant 8. Like every other weapon in the game is like that....

  1. New releases
    New releases aren't exciting anymore. Just legendary versions of already existing stuff behind a paywall. There needs to be more releases of rare, uncommon or common.

  2. Events
    The events only promote the new content which we have to pay for and the rewards aren't even worth grinding for.

  3. Onslaught
    They just made the onslaught worse. Letting us access the previously pay2win weapons is nice, but we have to pay tons of a-coins to get them, and we only get 1600 back.

  4. Fortune vaults
    FV needs a rework. There's too many skins in the game.

  5. Misc
    Amateur, prodigy and champion crates should contain a-coins.

  1. Playoff
    As mentioned many times by other players, nobody enjoys the new system of playoffs, especially the ones for a-coins. When the player base desired more a-coins, they meant more a-coins for everyone, not 3 overly committed players. Furthermore, the playoff has been around for probably a month, and it still has 12 more days to its conclusion. This playoff is clogging up the rosters of playoffs and it doesn't benefit anyone other than the 3 top rankers.

4: I play in non-seasonal division 2 climbing my way up, and I pretty regularly see people SP dropping and destroying me with Nomad or equivalents. While I can appreciate dropping SP to play with friends, matchmaking should probably factor in the tiers of used mechs and weapons, and players should have a tool in-game to actually do something about those players in matchmaking.
7: My friend plays with BlueStacks, started 2 days after me and he got to play the Ares Onslaught. It's still in his menu as we speak, but it's entirely invisible for me. Since it gave a free weapon in the first 2 stages, I'd love to know how I can get that event as well.

I love the modifiers that everyone can use. Abilities, blueprints, use more of these and less of the specific weapon ones.
I am proud of plarium for giving us f2p draws on the savant weapon. Good job.
Savant is mid, but it IS fairly creative. I'll give them that.
Matchmaking is still borked
The event was underwhelming, as always. They should take more inspiration from games where events actually mean something, like affect gameplay, or whatnot.
I still think they should solve the player DC issue with bots or even a minor DC penalty, like 30 sec-1 min.
Onslaught is fine. It's funny. I enjoy it. It's completely p2w though.

L event, as always.

  • More rigged ECRs.

  • More work being demanded from the player in exchange for very little reward.

  • Still no point for events, since none of the ideas that have been suggested to spice them up have been implemented.

  • Absolute L of a Playoff that went on for 6 whole weeks, constantly reminding everyone that Plarium thinks the playerbase has no life outside the game.

  • The event didn't bring any maps with special mechanics, so why should anyone care?

  • Still no map with puddles of water, so massive L.

  • Only paying players noticed any positive improvement throughout the period, and even then, not much.

  • The event didn't give us the ability to earn the new items, even if it meant doing so difficult achievements depending on what you already owned.

  • Like, bro, this event was so bad, I only remembered an event was going on when I saw Mech Arena Official's post on YouTube.

also the playoff was actually insane, like wtf, 6 weeks to grind out like 5000 battles to get 16k A-coins? it's just stupid to do something like this

the Onslaught is kinda meh, good that they increased the amount of free levels and make everything F2P, but Pod Gun just isn't good

  1. Modifiers: stuff like the ability cooldown are quite fun since they affect the gameplay a lot and allow us to use different strategies, more of stuff like this is appreciated.
  2. ECRs: the savant 16 ecr was overall pretty good considering all of us got 5 free tokens, even though the entire crate had 50 items it still was worth the grind, maybe allowing those tokens to be turned to acoins or a reasonable bps and creds might have made it better for those who didn't want to take the risk.
  3. Events: having an event to win acoins atleast once every week would be pretty nice, maybe something like 2v2 acoin ones every other week and a spec spree for something that isn't paywalled and should be owned by a considerable amount of the playerbase (something like helix 8s or maybe even stuff like killshot). Even just 400 acoins a month from them would go a long way. The savant 16 token. event was pretty good and did had a element of challenge which is nice. Atleast a event for a single token consistently for ECRs of new content would be pretty nice.
  4. Onslaught: simply put not enough return on the investment if you wanna go for the final prize. Especially considering weapons like pod gun 10s have much better alternatives so won't have significant value outside of the onslaught.

  1. I liked the cooldown modifier it was really fun to play matches with but i also disliked it cause the things you can do with it, for example, infinite daze, infinite stealth and infinite dome are fun to play with but rather annoying to play against but those were minimal and I really liked that modifier I also liked the mr 8 and sr 8 dmg modifier and I really hope we can get more modifiers like this (what I mean with "modifiers like this" is featuring a f2p available weapon and a p2w weapon so that both classes can be content ||both classes are the f2p and the spenders||, I also like that there are specialization sprees around them but rather hate that they don't feature a-coins not saying it has to be the 300 a-coins reward but it could also be a 100-300 a-coin reward

  2. The ECR has been up and down on one side there are more and more a-coin ecr but at the other side are the p2w ecr returning still no credit based ecr but I do like the fact if we do certain tasks that we can obtain ECR tokens, I would like to see more of that, would improve the ECR too

  3. I love savant 8 & 16, i like revokers and Lacewing as well great designs

  4. mm is better than last week but still bad I still get mm where the opponent or teammates are way weaker or way stronger than me

  1. Like I said I like the specialization sprees but make them a-coins reward based also more of the ecr tasks would be nice and that the 2v2 event always gives 100 a-coins instead of sometimes this is a little less detailed cuz i already stated this in my previous feedback

  2. Onslaught was covered but maybe we can do a different concept of it for example: onslaught featuring pay-walled mechs to make them available in gearhub, the first 12 battles are available to play with f2p weapons (at wave 12 you get your skin, crate and a-coins) and then you make 3 extra waves featuring pay-walled weapons to make them available for the f2p (those waves would feature only a-coins rewards to make people buy the newer weapons more)

also onslaughts like ks are still okay they are also super fun

so to summarise: modifiers were okay they have their ups and downs, ECR also has their ups and downs, Savant might be in my top 5 favorite weapons I really love that weapon, mm got better but can improve, I like the spec sprees, 2v2 tasks and ECR tasks but spec spree and 2v2 (always) needs to give a-coins, I like onslaught but we could use a maybe more fun maybe more logical concept

  1. Modifiers

Only ability cool down has a significant difference. More modifiers like this would be nice.

  1. Ecr

Free tokens for the savant 16 is really great, especially for f2p, but the chance of getting the weapon is still low plus a high amount of unnecessary credit reward.

  1. New releases

Not exciting anymore, just typical legendary that replace the old content we invested resources into. Just undo the grade update so all the rarities can compete against each other. Therefore, we could get non legendary releases more often.

  1. Match making

A player with 4K squad power can face one with 7k squad power, making the match unfair. Plus sp droppers.

  1. Events

Specialisation sprees are useless. We are getting rewarded an amateur crate which gives us BP for content we have to pay for or that we already have maxed out.

  1. Onslaught

The only good thing about this onslaught is that we can try weapons like minigun, disruptor etc. All waves should be free to play friendly.

  • (Overall: Positive) Savant 16 ECR & event was a massive success; adding more accessibility to the newly introduced weapon, and provided incentive for players to try to get the weapon
  • Positive: The Savant 16 event giving us 5 tokens in total, instead of just 1, which meant more chances for players to get the weapon
  • Mediocre: The ECR was still overly rigged, with unnecessary slots just to decrease overall chances of getting the weapon, but was counterbalanced by the 5 tokens we got in total, compared to only 1

Further Possible Improvements in the Future:

  • Always include an event alongside the ECR of the new weapon (or possibly mech as well) that includes tokens as the rewards from now on, to give players a chance to obtain the weapon in the future
  • Include better side rewards in the ECR alongside the grand prize, as well as adjust the rates to be more fair.

  • (Overall: Negative) Solis playoff was nerfed, reducing player's chances to get the mech, and any more mechs and weapons included in Playoffs in the future
  • Negative: Solis playoff was nerfed to only give the mech to the Top 1 spot, reducing the accessibility as well as the amount of people potentially able to get the Mech
  • Negative: This means that for every future new Mech and Weapon playoff from now on will be nerfed to have the grand prize only be given to the Top 1 spot, making them harder to potentially get for players in the future

Solution:

  • Revert the change to have the Mech be given to the Top 3 spots, or make it more accessible by giving it to the top 10 spots.

  • (Overall: Mediocre) Events continue to be very monotone & lacking incentive as usual, with the only event interesting being the Savant 16 event
  • Positive: The Savant 16 event being implemented gave the players more incentive to play the game, with an actually decent reward and the possibility to gain even more.
  • Negative: Other than the Savant 16 event, there wasn't anything else happening, so the game got boring again once it was done/ended.

Solutions:

  • Implement more fun events or objectives, to increase incentive and engagement for players, either in-game or within social media (i.e. YouTube/Facebook/Discord community challenges) for actually decent rewards, which can happen weekly or monthly
  • Add some more challenging objectives, for rewards that actually are worth it (like a significant amount of Acoins, Prodigy crate, etc.) for players to try to complete for even more rewards within the game

  1. The 50% ability CD modifier is fun, but it would be nice if it wasn’t forced on us, please at least let us be able to turn it on/off in custom matches!

  2. We all would really like to have more than a 0.03% chance on ECR’s! Giving them for free obviously doesn’t work all the time, so please let us do missions for more, or let us be able to buy them with credits!

  3. Mm still needs to be worked on! We understand that it can be a difficult process to make work well, but please! We NEED an anti SP dropping/tanking system! You are letting people ruin your game ( that is slowly becoming not as fun because of this massive issue!)

  4. People save up to win playoffs, because it used to be a good way to get new weapons/mechs, but now you put so many people in each bracket that it’s become almost pointless to even try. Please go back to having less people per bracket!

  5. Onslaught event wasn’t as I was hoping it to be. Most players do not have the required items to complete it, and the few stages we could play were unfortunately quite boring, so boring in fact, that I did not even take the time to play them all. Killing low level bots with a maxed mech is not fun. It would be great if we could get something more interesting!

  6. Many of us have been waiting for a x3 or x5 legendary BP modifier for all legendary BP’s. Not just one specific type of weapon. It has been many months since the last one, we would really like to see another one!

  • New weapon: Savant: It's really interesting and fun to use unless other guided weapons such as javs and helixs.

  • Savant ECR: Again and again the chances are unfair, making chances fair and not 0.03 % would be a welcome change.

  • It's good that a few mechs and weapons are coming in ecr for acoins, but the chances are absurd and there are too many useless stuffs added in it which makes the ECR not worth.

  • Tournament: It has to be revamped, make it like that you get points by doing objectives, not just u grind 24^7 kill bots again and again on same map, it's literally so monotonous.
    Objectives like- Get first blood, killing a "special" bot firstly which gives more points. The special bot should be mentioned before the match starts.

  • Maxed bps problem: All the mech arena players who get bps of maxed mechs/weapons really feel dejected, cuz it's useless to give bps of the stuff which has 0 use.
    Please stop this.

  • More creative modifiers are required such as, mech speed boost for tanks, Acoins multipliyer in specific crates.

Feedback on Onslaught Event:

  • The healing dynamics in wave-based missions seem less critical compared to pad healing missions. This is likely due to the ability to take cover effectively during wave missions, whereas pad healing requires more open engagement. The introduction of healing checkpoints is a significant enhancement to the gameplay experience.

  • A notable regression from the Scorpius Onslaught is the restricted arsenal. Previously, players had the luxury of choosing from two weapon options, whereas the Killshot event limits selection to a single weapon. This diminishes strategic diversity and player agency. Preferably an option between thee to four weapons would be advisable.

  • A major disappointment is the gating of essential weapons behind a paywall, necessitating either a real-money purchase or an exorbitant sum of 8,000+ acoins. This approach detracts from the game's accessibility and fairness.

  • While the available opponent mechs are satisfactory, they fall short of being compelling. It would be advantageous if the Vanguard/Sentinel mechs received a substantial increase in base HP for their shields, comparable to Aegis levels. This adjustment would encourage players to develop strategies to counteract the enhanced shields.

  • The selection of Hope Launchpad and The Stackyard as maps was commendable. However, the Skyship map may have inadvertently simplified the challenges due to its elevation dynamics.

  • The current reward structure is disproportionate to the acoin investment required. While increasing the rewards is not advocated, offering a broader range of weapon choices could mitigate the necessity for players to purchase new armaments.

  • Regarding the skin, feedback consistently indicates that it resembles a mere recolor of an existing design. Although the addition of tracks is appreciated, it lacks the impact seen in the transformative shield of the Ares onslaught skin or the javelin modifications of the Scorpius Onslaught skin.

  • The aspect where players get the chance to try out newer weapons like Disruptors and Repeaters for free is an aspect that should be encouraged in further Onslaughts
