Hibbertopterus
Hibbertopterus are friendly, curious creatures! They are quick to approach near anything, but even quicker to escape to the water if needed.
- Hibbertopterus are Cathemeral.
- Dimorphism:
- Males tend to have bumps along their shell (scouleri subspecies)
- Females will always have smooth shells, but occasionally have spines on their legs! (caledonicus or dewalquei subspecies)

- Hibbertopterus are skittish when nesting.
*Hibbertopterus are quick to scatter when threats are nearby.
