For people who play in static groups, it would be great to be able to still log in and play/farm mats without out-leveling your buddies who are offline. Maybe turn it back on every time you log in so people don't forget to re-enable it and rage.

I'm resurrecting this post to second it. I hit a level that I cant help anyone anymore and it feels bad. If I go to rift or dol, I just steal all the exp. I would honestly consider levelling an alt and freezing it at 25 and/or 35 just to help people through dungeons at those painful levels.
