First class I've played, so don't have much to compare it to, but it feels fun so far. Some issues I've noticed:

  1. Skill Tooltips - Most notably Ember's Eyes, as I have no idea what this spell is supposed to do? Floating light is similar. I think I get what it is supposed to do, but it feels useless, since darkness doesn't really seem to be an issue. Additionally (not sure if other classes have this or not) but I wish my combat skills gave an idea of how much damage they do in the tooltip, i.e. 30-50 divine damage, or 2.5x weapon damage, or something. They have mana cost, cast time, cooldown, basically everything else, but not damage.
  2. Holy Strike, and Divine Gavel both require a melee weapon, but the other day I got the disarmed effect from a magic mushroom, and was still able to use these for full damage, which seems unintended.
  3. Sanctification doesn't mention it being a melee ability, or needing a melee weapon, but when I use it I gain points in my melee skill.
  4. Just noticed under the FAQ, the class selection flowchart hasn't been updated to include paladin yet. Probably super low priority, as likely by the time someone has found the discord, they're already mid playing and have picked a class, but worth mentioning.

Oh, and paladins have traditionally had some level of healing spells, though often not to the level of a devoted healer. You may be going a different direction with them, which is fine, but they feel weirdly absent.

Paladin pretty OP , once u get vampirism enchant dont really need a heal :x

#

What would be nice if there was a heal so you wouldn’t have to always rely on vampy for every weapon

Oh, I'm doing fine even without having vamp yet, so they definitely don't need a heal, just saying canonically they have some heals, so it feels weird without them. And also, if they were to get a heal as the game expands, and all classes get more abilities, their other skills could be tuned so they aren't even more OP.

Minor, but worth noting: both Deliverence, and Holy Storm make note of "Requires 1 stack of Holy Wrath" but it doesn't appear that Holy Wrath actually stacks, so this can be a bit misleading. just "Requires Holy Wrath" is less confusing, if the ability isn't actually meant to stack, which based on the wording of Bless Weapon: Martyr, and Divine Fury, I don't thik it should.
