After reading a less than flattering comment/opinion of the games map screen and the useage of layers, I concurred that the steam discussion poster has a valid point.
To a newcomer, as well as launch survivors, the layer system on the main map can create some sensory confusion and add to a feeling of being completely lost in the map.
Would it be possible for the 'current location' arrow to be coloured GREEN when you are viewing the layer that you are currently on? All other layers that you are not on the current location icon should be RED and serve only to show the current position versus the vertical layer/alignment.
At present the current location is red regardless of what layer you are viewing and after a few increments up or down on the map layers it is easy to forget what layer you are currently on.
The Floor numbering is clearly not assisting others.
