#What kind of things can I hand out to my other players?

So, a few of my players are playing a homebrew class that revolves around basically using modified and less powerful scrolls to buff their teammates. These scrolls are easy to place around, and give a variety of abilities that the players can bestow their teammates. That said, because of how it heavily uses handed out/found items, I feel like when I'm placing them around the world, that I'm showing some kind of favoritism towards these players, since I don't know what I can give out to the players not playing this class.

give out anything besides scrolls that the other players can use?

This is probably gonna sound dumb, but like what?

what do they use?

#

fighters use melee and ranged weapons

#

so something like javelins fit

#

special ammo for rangers

etc

I guess. The "scrolls" act kind of like new spells for the class, that have more variety in effects, but are one use.

random potions and stuff that can affect the battlefield like grease bottles or alchemist fire are also always neat

That could work

Are there items you could give that only specific PCs could utilize that would be critical in a particular encounter? i.e. a surfboard for a PC with high dex prior to a water encounter. It's not "single use" but wouldn't be practically effective in most situations

You can always modify magical items from the DMG to give them limited charges if you just want them to be creative but not OP
