Basically the title.
Whenever hares or pheasants show up, they are pretty much instantly killed by other animals (wolves in the morning and foxes at night). I don't even get a chance to tame them.
For whatever reason, it seems like killing them is the highest priority for them even when they're not hungry or there's already a carcass there to feed them.

I don't like going and killing all the wild animals.
So this would be a nice thing to have. Mark a target for pet dogs or wolves to protect.
Maybe in mod V2 since idk if it'll work right now?

I was tinkering with a mod that reduces how aggressive foxes are about wild animals. I can work on it some more if that is of interest? It's just a frustrating one to code since I have to run through a game year of playing to see how well it works long term so I've been lazy about polishing it 🙈😅

I think it counts as progress 😅 gotta see how long it takes for ms. fox here to decide she wants lunch. Would prefer they still randomly attacked occasionally myself for that bit of flavor and challenge, but some peaceful co-existing for a few days would be nice

Day8 rabbit lasted until day 12 despite living right next to mrs.fox so might be at a decent point. I'll drop a copy of the mod here if you want to try it out for a bit. I'm going to give it some more test time over the next few days see how it's going long term for a bit see if I like where it's at.

Only main thing that is bugging me right now is they seem to ignore rats even right next to them. Tried turning their aggression up, but cat got them first. Good compatibility for my cat mod, bad if they aren't hunting rats for standalone 😅
