I understand the that point of the building decreasing in stability if you place a wall off of another one is to prevent a building being too overhung, however it looks silly. I would recommend a smoothing arch-like thing that you can put beneath an out crop that (like the rooves) adapts to the size of the overhang and maybe adds one stability.

It is more complicated but i think this could be especially interesting if it was only available if it was placed on a wall with an archway on the other-side, meaning that the internal of the building's design would affect what is possible on the exterior, requiring better planning.

I would suggest that using corbels would decrease the stability of the overhang by 0.5 instead of 1.
