#Crash to desktop when using a 1.0 save made in the forest trying to return to the facility

looks like some kind of serialization error, I'm guessing the item named in this message changed sometime between when I last played this save (April 30, so either 1.0.2 or 1.0.3) and the beta.

Seems pretty consistent, I tried three times and got the exact same message during the map transition to the facility each time. I've attached a save made right before the crash.

same crash with same message when I tried to make a new singleplayer save. it appears to have properly deleted the old saves, the "single" folder is gone

Next I'll try deleting the entire beta save folder and renaming my main branch folder so it doesn't get copied

Still crashes, back to the "LightStand" item this time

I forgot I had steam cloud enabled, I believe I managed to circumvent it by disabling steam cloud and then deleting/renaming folders again while the game was closed. At least, it seemed like a fresh install because it asked me to configure height and turning style again

I think I might have the store down-leveling mod installed, I will check tomorrow morning <t:1780149600:F>

yep, uninstalled the mod and that fixed it. apologies
