Trying to enter the tunnel thing in the outskirts that brings you to the peninsula in co-op caused one of us to consistently load in outside the map
I also spawned behind the portal that returns you to the outskirts once or twice while we were reloading trying to get a proper spawn
We also tried having my teammate leave the game with me entering the portal alone and inviting him again after but he still spawned outside

If you're outside the map you can actually see through the backs of the walls and floors to give your teammate callouts and point out loot lol
Workaround for anyone having the issue:
Have the player who isn't the host leave the game and have the host complete the area solo and make it back to base
Once you're in the base re-invite the other player and they'll spawn at the entrance
Or just... dont explore Lauri's tunnel
