I love the way the safehouses look when inside the dome, the way they are all grassy and colorful, like they have been saved from the death of the radius and are allowed to grow and be alive again.

But... From the outside, seeing a giant dome of ash is a little off putting. Like it doesn't belong there. Some suggestions I had was making it so that the shape of the dome is more organic, like the distortion zones, or maybe try changing up the material of the dome and not keep it as that ash/mold texture.

Other than that, I think they are pretty cool Pecho_Cool

would look better if it had some cooler shaders on it, I do get the ash, as ash still falls down on everything in the radius. But maybe have flashyness trump logic a lil and have a more interesting effect to the dome.

yeah that has to be a placeholder of some time, im pretty sure thats the ash texture but blown up because the model of the sphere is so big

I love the idea of it, I just wish they went even further and lit up the indoors more so flashlights aren't needed. The first one you encounter only has one lit room and the rest is pitch black.

yeah the content itself is great to include the live nature, but what we're saying is the dome from the outside looks like an error, like the wrong texture was put on it

Then I agree, they should add the same effect as the Distortion Zones but make it blue or something or something more welcoming

if it was the same effect but just modulated it would be perfect. from the outside it would look dark and dreary, but inside its nice, bright, lively.

the distortion zones have a translucent effect with fog, in terms of technically speaking

Could also use an effect that makes a hole in the dome as you approach

Nah the dome just needs to be gone

And stuff gets stopped in time when crossing it, that would make more sense

yeah so my responses here is kind of along the lines of "if they want this... here's how its better" I als oagree there shouldn't be a big giant sphere

I checked the train safe house and that place is lit up like christmas, but the safe house near the entrance to the forest has a dark interior? It's very strange. If people mod in the loot system (like the idea of a shopless run in the first game) and the devs add shelves to safe houses and lit up the indoors, I'd be set on making this another 200 hours of gameplay

Also I retract my earlier message, the Guide is not there after he introduces you to it, so that's a plus
