This is purely a visual bug for the host and only happened once (that i noticed anyways) in around 5 hours of playtime. The gun remained completely normal for the client in both looks and function but for the host it appeared as pictured but went back to normal as soon as it was holstered and re-equipped.
I must also point out that this happened before the hotfix so it might already not happen anymore
