This could be an anomalie or enime but the idea is that it poses as loot or a tree (etc) and when you get near it or touch it it turns into like a slider or smthing. (it attacts you). It will be hard to spot and with the shifting anomile placements hard to predict.

if there is a way to detect it before getting close to it then this could be a great idea

like a subtle glitch effect, and/or a quite noise
