Soft locked at tutorial. Backpack bug.

Description: When it told me to grab my backpack at the tutorial and all my gear out of the bin at the command center, my backpack was frozen in the air and couldn't be grabbed or removed by walking away. The computer registered it as still in the bin and wouldn't let me progress till i removed it. Fixed itself on reloading previous save.

Steps to reproduce: I grabbed the backpack and put it away. Then practiced grabbing it a few times and it just froze in the air.

Frequency: Once.

Valve index + knuckles.

Were you able to force grab it from a distance, or did you try that by chance? I feel like I encountered this before also, but I can’t remember.

Have you tried trying to reach over your shoulder and grabbing it off your back again?

I think that was the problem, they pulled out the backpack and it got suck in the machine but couldn't be grabbed

Yeah my brain is starting to hurt trying to make sense of it, the description and steps to produce are throwing my brain in this loop where it can’t figure out when and where the problem happened. I need a video. 🤣

I did try. It was just frozen in place and i couldn't interact with it whatsoever.
