The original email seemed to suggest that the next map would be larger than 1.0
But it could be a miscommunication
They might just be saying that the qualities of the map outdo what has been done before
And not necessarily the size of the map

but they were good, like too good. They were using the asset models that were in the files, as well as the sounds

yup those are simply zombies out of an asset pack. I think cm games used a premade pack, modified the code and is using that for the base code for the mimics.

Until the map releases, I don't want to disclose my method. I dont want to cause any larger of a map leak than I am already responsible for. (those screenshots of the map at the top of the post are mine)
I didn't realize how big of a leak it was at the time, since I thought CM hadn't settled on a blockout iteration of the map yet. By the time I heard from Darius that they were trying to keep it secret, those screenshots had already been passed around quite a bit.

It's not from the mod, the mod takes items and puts them into a loot pool to be dropped by enemies

I watched xpasty visit the forest
Just to see what it looks like
Still ugly as heck with the sky and lighting and ash, but some more trees that 0.13.0
I had suspected that the devs intended to reduce the Forest, just not to the “drastic” amount in the 0.13.0 beta
So we gone some trees back
But not all of them
all ill say for town map is "PEAK" and i dont think you will be disappointed about the atmosphere

After a full day thinking I had lost the build and wouldn't be able to show it off, I found that I had a backup of the game files! Hopefully Ill get clearance from Darius to show off this awesome version of town soon!

the only reason it didnt transfer for beta 2 is ITR2 got an update from unreal 5.3 to 5.4

I just think, similar to the artifact nests, it would be nice if each loot type had a unique interaction mechanic
I think the mag eject button would make so much sense, because we use it to “release” and also use it to take off attachments, helmets, vests, etc
And the smashing, idk, because having to smash every single one of them will feel too gamey, but having the option to smash them, while being able to open them regularly would be awesome

Seeing a “proper” agricultural field in ITR2 would be nice (rows of dead crops instead of a blanket of grey, like Kolkhoz was)
